Our Senior Director of Demand Generation is key in taking our company’s growth to the next level. The primary responsibility of this marketing leader is to create and lead the planning and execution of integrated, multi-channel demand generation programs and campaigns that utilize inbound and outbound strategies and tactics to build awareness, create pipeline, nurture leads and drive overall revenue growth within healthcare organizations and physician group practices.

This role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and will work closely with the Digital Marketing, Solutions Marketing, Sales and Business Development, and Client teams. The ideal candidate has significant B2B expertise, specifically within healthcare (Physician Groups and Healthcare Organizations), and a solid understanding of our market, the buyer’s journey, and the sales funnel. This individual is strategic and data-driven with exceptional collaboration skills. They are an experienced team leader who knows how to cultivate relationships and nurture and build talent. They can easily shift from strategy to “rolling up the sleeves,” and will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced growth environment.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Grow a scalable demand generation function with continuous programming to drive measurable and predictable pipeline and lead nurturing activity aligned with awareness, sales, retention, and growth goals
  • Develop, maintain, and execute segment marketing strategies and programs that drive/grow our prospect pipeline, create qualified leads, and accelerate conversion
  • Help drive and measure business results, with key metrics focused on increased sales pipeline, MQL creation (volume and quality/conversion rate), improved closing ratios, CAC and return on marketing program spend
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop programs and end-to-end campaigns, from conception and implementation to measuring and reporting on results
  • Help direct cross-functional team responsible for campaigns, working with internal digital marketing and content/creative teams on Pardot and campaigns aligned with target segments and buyer lifecycle
  • Create integrated inbound and outbound strategies and programs that leverage a mix of email, social, website, digital advertising, SEO, content, webinars, events, sponsorships and/or other strategies and tactics that reach our target audiences
  • Manage overall program and campaign performance measurement, evaluating both tactical results and optimizing program performance over time. Analyze and report results on a regular cadence in conjunction with the Digital Marketing team.
  • Maintain a regular, ongoing feedback loop between Sales and Marketing to:
  • Optimize lead generation efforts, identify opportunities to accelerate pipeline, nurture and accelerate qualified leads
  • Meet and exceed growth targets across business segments
  • Develop account-based marketing programs to identify and increase success rate with key accounts
  • Expand programming as new markets, partners and channels evolve
  • Manage and optimize program budget spend in support of business priorities and marketing goals
  • Work with Digital Marketing team to identify, select and manage outside vendors and developing technologies that contribute to our demand generation efforts

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years relevant B2B marketing leadership and hands-on experience, with at least two years’ direct team leadership and responsibility for end-to-end demand generation programming
  • Experience working with healthcare decision makers and buyers, particularly physician group practices and health systems (Payer experience a plus)
  • Proven experience collaborating with and supporting sales and client teams on lead generation and retention strategies and programs
  • Proven ability to use data to drive strategy, execution, and optimization
  • Deep understanding of sales funnel and the optimization requirements of each stage
  • Expertise driving full-funnel performance, with emphasis on velocity and growth levers
  • Applied expertise with segmentation, targeting, list management, lead scoring, nurturing
  • In-depth experience creating and executing integrated demand generation strategies and programming
  • In-depth experience with Salesforce CRM, marketing automation (HubSpot / Pardot), marketing data analysis tools, such as Tableau, Google Analytics, e.g.) / Team collaboration, and workflow tools experience required
  • Strong analytical expertise to set measurable goals, evaluate program/campaign effectiveness and report at both granular and high levels
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and team leadership experience and skills.
  • Positive, collaborative, energetic leader and team player with the ability to drive consensus, “roll up the sleeves” and get things done
  • Team leadership and management experience desired
  • Strong project management skills, self-starter with the ability to drive multiple priorities simultaneously and to problem-solve in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
