iBeat Company and Product Update – April 2017

Our team has been hard at work at our offices in San Francisco ramping up for product manufacturing, and we can’t wait to share with you what we’ve been working on. It’s been a busy couple of months since we last posted an update. In that time, we’ve filed more than a dozen patents, solidified our sensing algorithms, made several team hires in manufacturing, operations, and product development, and we’re now working with a third-party team of data scientists to further validate our watch sensors and technology.

We’re also evaluating multiple manufacturing candidates to find the best partner who can meet our strict quality requirements in bringing the iBeat Watch to market. The team will be traveling abroad in the coming weeks to meet with these candidates, and we look forward to keeping you updated on that process. In addition, we’ve been laying down the groundwork with renowned universities and their medical teams to begin in-patient clinical beta testing. Keep your eyes peeled for those studies!

We’re also excited to share we recently presented at AARP’s Innovation @50+ event in Mountain View, California, and the response was overwhelming. Every single person who saw our prototype said that the watch is beautiful, stylish, and comfortable to wear. We worked hard to find a balance between look and functionality, and it’s something we are very proud of, so rest assured, the iBeat Watch you ordered not only looks great, but also feels great. Can’t wait for you to see!

Lastly, to answer your biggest question, shipping! We’re currently working to zero in on a more specific shipping date and will update our Pre-Order page accordingly. If you have any questions or feedback, shoot us an email at support@ibeat.com. In the meantime, stay tuned for more details coming, including a video that will show the product in action. We think you’ll dig it!

Take care,

-The iBeat Team
